Job Description:

The Department of Dentistry at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for an Intermediate Administrative Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the Chair of the department of Dentistry and other faculty members. The incumbent will provide overall office support, coordinate departmental travel and reimbursement of expenses as needed, and assist with planning events. In addition, the Intermediate Administrative Assistant will prepare and maintain the faculty call schedules. Fiscal or financial responsibilities will include processing payment requests for lab invoices, supplies and membership dues, reconciling invoices monthly and submitting monthly payroll for part-time faculty.

In addition, this position provides administrative support for the GPR program director and residents. Specific GPR program administrative duties include maintaining GPR department and PASS websites and working closely with the residency director to schedule interviews, create resident schedules and assist with Free Clinic scheduling and onboarding.

This is a restricted position; continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: At least one year of relevant experience.

COVID Vaccination Requirement
