Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Site Superintendent to
join our growing team. This role involves leading the construction
management team to ensure the timely and budget-conscious
completion of solar system projects, with a consistent on-site
presence. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, experienced
construction professional with a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities Attend site walks and pre-construction planning
meetings with the Construction Manager (CM), Project Manager (PM),
and engineering team as required. Manage and maintain the
construction schedule, providing daily updates to the CM and PM
through reports and documentation in Procore. Communicate with the
CM regarding project safety, quality, and subcontractor
performance. Set and achieve goals for subcontractors, ensuring
they remain on task. Attend all First Article Inspections and lead
when the CM is unavailable. Perform Quality Assurance/Quality
Control inspections and maintain a daily inspection log throughout
all project phases. Conduct Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
inspections and report any deficiencies to the CM and PM.
Participate in weekly subcontractor calls and other meetings as
required. Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to
optimize job efficiency. Inspect delivered equipment, document
findings, and report any deficiencies to the CM. Coordinate daily
with subcontractors and submit any questions through the RFI system
with the CM. Provide feedback and contribute to problem-solving
within the team. Adhere to safety standards and installation best
practices, ensuring crew member safety. Address and correct unsafe
conditions and discipline non-compliant crew members. Travel to
sites outside the designated territory when necessary. Perform
other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Attention to detail and
ability to assess quality installations. Experience with electrical
construction and components. Ability to inspect project elements.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of
construction management, NEC, and racking systems. Additional
Skills & Qualifications 3 years of experience as a solar
superintendent or in construction supervision. 3 years of
electrical or mechanical experience. Strong technological
background. OSHA 10 certification (reimbursement available for
course costs if not held). Good verbal and written communication
skills (bilingual in Spanish is a plus). Ability to read and
understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract
exhibits. Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated with a disciplined work style. Ability to influence
adherence to company policies and instructions. Proficiency in
computer and software operations. Experience with mechanical,
civil, and electrical aspects of solar array installations.
Problem-solving skills and a visual thinker. Knowledge of
industrial relations and conflict management. Leadership skills and
ability to lead a diverse team. Risk assessment and management
skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
Valid driver's license and eligibility for corporate vehicle

environment. Work Environment Candidates will primarily work
outdoors with a field office located on-site. The role involves
quality control work for a general contractor. The standard shift
is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with availability required
on weekends. Expect 0-15 hours of overtime weekly. A per diem of
$120 is provided for each day worked. Job Type & Location This is a
Contract position based out of Richmond, VA. Pay and Benefits The
pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility
