Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a
K-12 public school district located approximately 45 minutes south
of Washington, DC. This contract role offers the chance to work in
a dynamic educational environment serving elementary and middle
school students with speech and language needs. Assignments will
vary, with each SLP managing caseloads that generally do not exceed
55 students, typically around 50. The position runs from early
January through late May, Monday through Friday, with a standard
schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Part-time candidates who can
commit to at least 20 hours weekly will also be considered. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language pathology services to
students in elementary and middle school settings Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student
needs Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to
promote student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation
of services and student outcomes Manage caseloads efficiently,
ensuring quality care and compliance with school policies
Qualifications: Active Virginia SLP license required Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates who are Clinical
Fellows (CF) will be considered with supervision support provided
No prior school experience necessary; training and support
available Ability to work full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours
per week) Comfortable working at up to two school locations,
assigned based on best fit Location: Schools located in the
Washington, DC metropolitan area, approximately 45 minutes south of
