Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist position is available to support an elementary
school in King George, VA. This role is onsite and focuses on
providing comprehensive psychological services to an elementary
caseload. The contract spans from an immediate start through the
end of the current school year, offering a valuable opportunity to
impact students' educational and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include: Conducting psychological evaluations and
assessments for elementary students Collaborating with teachers,
parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Providing counseling and intervention services to support students
academic and social-emotional needs Participating in
multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to data-driven
decision making Maintaining accurate and confidential records in
compliance with school policies and legal requirements
Qualifications and experience desired: Valid School Psychologist
certification/license Experience working with elementary-aged
students Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and
counseling techniques Excellent communication and collaboration
skills Ability to work onsite full time during school hours
