The requirement for non-PPP support applies to tasks 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.6, 6.7, and 6.8.*Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and appropriate Department of Defense (DoD) 8140.01 IAT baseline certification is required for this task order.*Relocation assistance available.Introduction:IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualifiedApplications Engineer to work in Charlottesville, VA. The Applications Engineer will support the Army CSR Enterprise Audit Program (ACEAP) team, who will be responsible for O&M of the FAD-DP infrastructure and software components to include ArcSight/Splunk, Information Transfer Service (ITS), Dynamic Data Utility DyDu, and related audit services. In addition, the candidate will support and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux Server operations and provide training events after software releases.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Four (4) years of Information Technology (IT)/Application Engineering experience is considered equivalent to a bachelor s degree. 3-5 years of recent software development, hardware support, test and audit experience. 2+ years of virtualized desktop infrastructure experience. Certification in DoD 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) Information Assurance Workforce Technical Category I - IAT-II certification required (CCNA Security or CYSA+ or, CICSP or, GSCEC or, Security+ CE or, SSCP). 3+ recent years of experience with O&M and software components to include ArcSight/Splunk, Information Transfer Service (ITS), Dynamic Data Utility DyDu and related audit services. The candidate will support and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux Server operations Advanced background supporting and troubleshooting Red Hat Linux Server operations in an enterprise environment. Background and experience with ArcSight, Splunk, Dynamic Data Utility (DyDu), RedHat Linux, ICS 500-27, Java, XML, JSON, AUDIT.XML. Must be available for non-PPP hours consist of 24x7 on-call support and a Weekly Scheduled Maintenance window, which is one night per week and starts at either 1600 or 1800. Qualifications Desired:5 years of experience demonstrating technical depth and experience in, relevant discipline(s) and/or application(s). Previous experience supporting the Army CSR Enterprise Audit Program (ACEAP) Previous experience leading teams is desirable, but not required. Previous site lead/task order management experience 3+ Years of experience working with Government Entity. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide software engineering and administration support for all Army Enterprise Auditing Program components. Assist with providing O&M of the FAD-DP infrastructure and software components to include ArcSight/Splunk, Information Transfer Service (ITS), Dynamic Data Utility DyDu, and all audit related services. Provide support and troubleshooting of Red Hat Linux Servers. Use scripting languages to integrate and test software updates related to the IC audit XML specification and add Army Community Share Resource (CSR) assets into the Enterprise Audit infrastructure to meet ICS 500-27 requirements. Maintain existing RMF A&A artifacts and systems administration documentation. Assist with planning and implement the update of the FAD-DP to take advantage of new technologies and capabilities available, such as cloud services and other GOTS FAD-DP technologies. Develop an engineering plan and timeline for upgrade, considering critical factors such as scalability, cyber security, future growth and anticipated changes, dependencies and priorities. System engineering services shall be applied to current and potential FAD-DP components (ArcSight, Dynamic Data Utility, NiFi, Splunk, Log Stash) that support ICS 500-27 Requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date list of software requirements in the on-site, Government-provided Atlassian JIRA software suite. Provide software engineering services and documentation support in the development and maintenance of an Army Application Audit Specification for system owner compliance with ICS 500-27. Leverage advanced programming skills in JAVA and XML to develop a JSON specification at the U//FOUO level that incorporates all the mandatory fields of the DNI Audit.XML specification. Author a comprehensive Army Application Audit Enablement guide for developers that incorporates the JSON specification and details the audit enablement requirements for Army application owners. Provide three, 4-hour training events following each software release, within a 12-month period. Produce and maintain all training material including Instructor Guides (IG), curriculum, syllabus, training plans, agendas and schedules. Design, develop, test, and package software for the current baseline as updates and future baselines as upgrades. Analyze, isolate, characterize, document, and resolve complex application software anomalies and deficiencies. software services. Provides technical guidance to business users. Devises technical solutions to promote business activities.
