Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an entry level Civil
Engineer who will support the Navy Program Manager responsible for
Strategic Systems Planning (SSP) Facilities Acquisition at TRIDENT
Submarine Bases Kings Bay Georgia and Bangor Washington. The
selected candidate will help to develop comprehensive MILCON
documentation and construction cost estimates. Additionally, the
selected candidate will provide technical peer reviews of design
submittals, will help to develop Facilities Evaluation Testing
criteria, and will perform construction monitoring and
conduct/prepare engineering reports and will make recommendations
to solve infrastructure issues. This position will be located in
Washington, DC and there is no relocation assistance available. If
relocation is necessary, the selected candidate must be willing to
relocate at his/her own expense.Required Education, Experience, &
Skills Candidates must ensure that resume addresses all stated
requirements of the posted requisition. Resumes that do not
specifically include all required skills/experience, will be
considered. Minimum education and years of related/relevant work
experience required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or
relatable degree and at least 2 years of related professional work
experience.Additional skills/experience required:
- Engineer In Training (EIT)
- Ability to clearly communicate in English, both written and
verbal
- Microsoft OfficePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or willing to
obtainHands on experience preparing MILCON documentation (DD Form
1391)Hands on NAVFAC or Army Corp of Engineers ExperiencePublic
Works experienceConstruction cost estimating experience.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
