Job Description:
Mechanical & Civil Engineer, SeniorKey Role:Develop and review
technical requirements, concepts, principles, standards, and
methods to ensure the mechanical engineering and fire protection
portion of building construction and land development projects are
designed and constructed in accordance with the required
operational and functional criteria. Provide technical
responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting technical
project reviews at locations in the DC area and around the country,
as needed. Apply industry standard design and construction means
and methods to the projects. Conduct independent technical
investigations involving the origination or modification of
material and component or process specifications and requirements.
Write business and technical documentation for mechanical
engineering functions, responsibilities, and processes in various
forms, including short reports and technical guidance
documents.Basic Qualifications:7+ years of experience as a
mechanical, civil, or construction engineerExperience with federal
regulations, codes, and industry standards, including the American
National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Society of
Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE)Experience with Microsoft Office, including, Project, Word,
Excel, and PowerPointExperience reviewing construction drawings and
developing cost estimations for construction projectsExperience
communicating regularly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors,
including verbal and written progress reports, detailed financial
reviews, and offerings for additional support
opportunitiesExperience managing and tracking work progress across
multiple projects with diverse user groups, including clients,
subcontractors, and vendorsAbility to comprehend and adopt non-US
standard design and construction means and methodsAbility to travel
domestically 20% of the timeAbility to obtain a security
clearanceBachelor's degree in Mechanical

various factors, including but not limited to location, the
individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills,
competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific
affordability and organizational requirements. The projected
compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will
