to our customers around the world. THE WORK Position is in support
of the Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2) Undersea
Mission Systems (UMS), Integrated Common Processor (ICP) Program
Technical Documentation team. The successful candidate will be part
of the combined technical documentation and customer training team
developing S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM)
as well as supporting training material development and customer
training. The candidate will create, maintain, and deliver IETMs
and associated training products, while actively participating in
the Agile development process. The role blends hands on systems
familiarization, authoring of high quality technical documentation,
development and delivery of instructor led training, and
coordination with engineering, sustainment, and operational
stakeholders. As an IETM developer, the candidate will: • Liaise
with Global Sustainment leadership to capture IETM and training
requirements, schedules, and risk?management guidelines. • Create,
rewrite, and edit technical documents – procedure manuals,
user/programming/service manuals, operational specifications, and
other publications. • Gather engineering data by reviewing Jira
tickets, interviewing product developers, and consulting
blueprints, specifications, and illustrations. • Validate new
system capabilities in the lab and ensure documentation reflects
actual performance. • Support Agile/DevSecOps processes, attend
Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective),
and ensure documentation tasks are represented in the sprint
backlog. As a training instructor the candidate will: • Develop
instructor?led training (ILT) curricula, course syllabi, lesson
plans, and student manuals aligned with IETM updates. • Identify
learning objectives, design assessments, and conduct testing to
verify knowledge transfer. • Present instructional material to
audiences ranging from senior officers to junior enlisted
personnel; serve as subject?matter support during formal
maintenance courses. • Perform quality?assurance reviews of all
training products, incorporating approved engineering data and
feedback from stakeholders. • Coordinate with sustainment leaders
to ensure training content synchronizes with IETM revisions and
program schedules. Applicant selected will be subject to a
government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information. Candidate will
be required to perform onsite work within a classified laboratory
environment. Basic Qualifications • A strong work ethic and ability
to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with
excellent multitasking and organizational skills • Proficiency in
Agile Methodology and Scrum framework, with a solid understanding
of Scrum principles and practices • Knowledge of S1000D compliant
Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development
processes and sustainment element planning strategies, with
experience working in an Agile DevSecOps environment • Excellent
written and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear
and concise reports, plans, and presentations to effectively
communicate program status to stakeholders • Familiarity with the
Technical Insertion (TI) and Advanced Processing Build (APB)
cycles, with a basic understanding of how these processes impact
program development and delivery • Technical expertise with ability
to impart knowledge, skills, and understanding of underwater
systems to US Navy personnel • Proficient in the MS Office suite of
products, including Word, Excel, and Power Point. • Excellent
people skills and ability to communicate with people at varying
professional levels • Active Secret clearance Desired skills •
Experience collaborating with US Navy submarine stakeholders,
including maintainers, operators, and support personnel from
installation, engineering, and other disciplines, with a strong
understanding of their needs, challenges, and workflows •
Experience working with US Navy submarine sonar systems, including
operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sonar equipment,
with knowledge of sonar principles, systems, and procedures, and
familiarity with Navy sonar systems such as AN/BQQ-10, AN/BSY-2, or
AN/WLY-1 • Experience developing military operations or maintenance
training for complex electronic systems. • Navy instructor

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$57,400 - $101,200. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not

work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
