Overview: Visiting Angels is one of the most highly rated home care operators in the US, providing the Activities of Daily Living for elderly that wish to stay in the comfort of their own home. Job Summary: There are two functions associated with this position. The first is clientintake. This is the contact with potential clients from the initial contact with the companythrough the contractual agreement for service being signed. The second area is inmarketing. This part of the position is to ensure the company is portrayed in a positivelight in the community through various outreach functions described below.The position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Agencys image throughappropriate dress, pleasant and helpful telephone manner, and courteous interaction withall staff and visitors, and is responsible for appropriate verbal and behavioral interactionwith all individuals that she comes in contact with on behalf of the agency.Qualifications: This position requires an individual who possesses a pleasant helpfuldemeanor. A person who cares about providing a high level of service to elderly clientswith varying degrees of understanding of what they need in the way of service levels.The individual must understand the health concerns of elderly clients. The individual mustbe able to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision, and must possess a highdegree of initiative and the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.Required skills include:Verbal good communication skills, appropriate language and an understanding of basic medical terminology, must be easily understood when speaking.Computer must have good computer skills, be able to input data and use various software programs such as; Word, PowerPoint, Google, CRM and other programs that may be introduced to the company. Software training will be provided for proprietary software, but the position requires someone with the ability to learn the technology changes.General Duties and Responsibilities1. Ensure all clients are called back immediately upon reception of a lead. Inaddition, calls all inquiries on a weekly basis to sell our services and obtain an in-home assessment appointment. Follows up on internet inquiries the same daythey are received. If the client cannot be reached during business hours, calls willbe made after hours or on weekends.Expectation: To ensure at least 50% of the leads we receive close.To ensure that 90% of the home assessments close.2. Visit clients homes and discuss all aspects of Visiting Angels services pertainingto that potential client. All initial visits will focus on the client needs, what theclient likes to do, and the type of caregiver the client would enjoy having withthem.3. Create a client file for all cases with signed contracts. Make sure the client file iscurrent at all times. Collect and maintain all client paperwork, and also enter allclient information into the tracking software. Ensure that the pricing of a case iswithin stated policies of the company. This will ensure the company will maintainits profit levels on a case by case basis. The Intake Coordinator will discuss withthe Director any variances to the case pricing that may be necessary from time totime.4. Maintain a list of all new clients and track conversion rates, calls and sources.Track all closed cases. Complete all follow up procedures as outlined in thecompanys policies. Help the Staffing Coordinator confirm new clientassignments, including the introduction of the client to the caregiver.5. Works closely with the nursing staff to ensure initial assessments are scheduled.Prepares binder notebooks for the clients home with directions and forms for thecaregiver. Consults with the Staffing Coordinator to ensure that the proper levelof care is being delivered. Works to provide solutions to clients needs includingproviding lockboxes, phone alert systems and home delivery of personal care.Visits current clients in the hospital/rehab/nursing home to check up on them andmaybe take them a gift.6. When service has ended for a client, prepare discharge paperwork including aletter to the family with the caregiver evaluation survey. Periodically updates theClient Emergency Planning Forms notebook. Attends weekly staff meetingsand reports on hours serviced and conversion rates.7. Attend symposiums and expos to promote our services, includingordering/suggesting promotional items. Distribute brochures and other marketingmaterials to hospitals, nursing homes, doctors offices, 55+ housing areas, etc.Also, acknowledging the same with a gift for their referral. Contacting and providingads to newspapers and newsletters for publication. Helps keep the companys websiteup to date with additions of current news.8. Understand and comply with all HIPAA guidelines as taught and attend yearlyHIPAA update meetings.9. Support our technology rollout of Constant Companion / Alexa in the marketplace. Qualifications: Sales experience a requirement, experience in Home Care a significant plus. Benefits: The position includes a sales commission bonus in addition to salary.
