    Who You Are

    This position is directly responsible for generating move-ins (revenue) for the company through managing and motivating a regional sales team of Senior Living Advisors (SLAs) within his/her designated market. Senior Living Advisors (SLAs) are inside sales representatives responsible for educating families on senior care options and working with them to find the right senior living communities that match their needs. The SLAs takes inbound pre-screen leads and help guide the seniors and their families from initial consultation, to touring of facilities, and ultimately moving into a senior living community. This requires not only working with the families but also acting as the liaison between families in need and the senior housing communities or care providers. This role requires a combination of analytical and sales skills, commitment to delivering a seamless consumer experience, while working cross functionally with other divisions within our organization to maximize outcomes and drive company success.


    What you will do:
    • Lead, manage, and develop a high performing results driven team via recruitment, training, coaching, and motivating
    • Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team members to efficiently leverage the value of every call for maximum conversion rates and outcomes
    • Train, mentor and manage SLAs on how to build relationships and educate families over the phone on the referral process while understanding the families' unique needs and refer to the appropriate customer communities.
    • Manage performance of your team to maximize outcomes.
    • Achieve and exceed sales results monthly to achieve company goals.
    • Prepare and report on market performance to Senior Leadership team as required.
    • Incorporate APFM Values into each customer and co-worker interaction.
    • Other duties identified to meet the needs of the business.
    • Quarterly overnight travel required for Divisional and Organizational Sales Meetings, with additional local travel to visit our community customers in the market.
    • This is a full time position that will require a flexible work schedule between the hours of 8am and 8pm, with night and weekend call requirements. A minimum of 20% travel required.

      Required Skills and Competencies:
      • Track record of exceeding quota as a sales manager.
      • Passionate about managing by metrics.
      • 3+ years' successful experience in a sales role.
      • 3+ years' successful experience as a sales manager.
      • History of attracting sales talent for your teams.
      • Track record of developing new sales talent into top performers
      • Ability to manage seasoned sales talent to maximize their performance
      • Willingness to quickly come up to speed on the senior living industry.
      • Documented history of ability to develop and maintain good working relationships in a multi-stakeholder sale.
      • Proven ability to builds long-term relationships of professional credibility and trust.
      • Ability to solve personnel issues both timely and professionally.
      • Asks for help when needed to solve problems but is independent in running the day to day sales operations.
      • Promotes a positive and energetic sales atmosphere with the team.
      • Ability to deliver results, while working in a highly independent environment.
      • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
      • Effective time management skills.
      • Strong computer skills necessary, including Word and Excel.
        Education Requirements
        • Bachelor's Degree Required.
          Home Office Requirements
          • Regional Managers are required to have a designated home office space, allowing for privacy during working hours, as well as a high speed internet connection.
