Role Overview Product Management is our voice of the user,
supporting our product development teams by finding the best
opportunities and keeping us true to what our customers need most.
Product Managers are the connective tissue between stakeholders
across the company - Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Strategy,
Impact, Research & Evaluation, and Product Development - leading us
to align behind successful product strategies and deliver the
highest value to our customers.
This is a project-specific role in which the Product Manager will
be responsible for determining product features and capabilities
for the conceptualization and development of an informal
observation suite, based on the needs of our users, communicating
these capabilities to the development team, and launching new and
enhanced products. The suite will consist of an easy-to-use
platform, as well as training, and resources to support educators,
coaches, and leaders in conducting focused, informal observations.
The platform is intended to facilitate reflection, provide
immediate, actionable feedback, and support planning, focused on
improving key interactions within the context of educators' daily
work and routines.
Company Overview Teachstone - was founded in 2008 to deliver the
Classroom Assessment Scoring System - (CLASS -) nationwide and
around the globe. Developed through years of research, the CLASS
observation tool measures the interactions between teachers and
children, which have been shown to drive learning and lifelong
achievement. Teachstone helps organizations conduct classroom
observations and provides professional development so that teachers
improve and children learn more. Our online subscription service,
myTeachstone, simplifies CLASS implementation by combining
observation data with a robust library of CLASS resources and
professional development.
At Teachstone, everything we do is about improving the ways
teachers interact with their students. We train coaches and
observers, build and deliver online support programs, design
professional development - all of it grounded in one proven fact:
the interactions teachers have with students have a lasting impact
on their academic and developmental success. By helping educators
describe, measure and improve their interactions and relationships
with students, Teachstone is transforming education nationwide, one
interaction at a time.
