The Clinical Manager of the OR is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for directing and coordinating the daily clinical operations of the Monticello Community Surgery Center operating room according to the established policies and procedures. Supports the goals of the Surgery Center and Optimizes the clinical, financial, and human resources of the Center.

Implements and monitors standards of patient care which are in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Assures that clinical practices are standardized and are consistent with overall clinical care practices and standards. Performs as a role model for guest relations to ensure that the staff provides courteous, respectful and personalized customer service.

Monticello Community Surgery Center is a 5 room surgical suite located in Charlottesville, Virginia. We are a multi-specialty center with a focus on surgical procedures evolving the eye, but we also serve patients requiring orthopedics, plastics, gynecologic and urology procedures.

This position is a BSN, currently licensed in the state of Virginia and has at least three years of OR experience and two years management experience in Ambulatory Surgery including the pre/post and recovery area. Experience in both the scrub and circulating role is expected and CORN/ACLS is preferred.'

This position is offering a sign on bonus and relocation assistance depending on experience.

MCSC was sold to UVA Health Systems in April of 2021. Intergration is underway, but our staff is not employed by the University at this time.
