Supervision: Guest Services Agent, Room Attendant, Night Auditor,
Food and Beverage Staff
Pay Structure: Salary, Paid Bi-weekly

Position Overview:
To act as the assistant to the General Manager in managing the
hotel's operations, maintaining established revenue, cost and
quality standards. Oversees overall day-to-day hotel operations as
delegated by the General Manager.
--Responsibilities:
---Generates through proper supervision of assigned departments
projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction.
--- Participates in the development of short term and long term
financial and operational plans for the hotel.
--- Remains current on business trends and local activities.
--- Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial
statements.
--- Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community
involvement.
--- Ensures proper handling of guest complaints.
--- Assists in the development of new programs which results in an
increased level of guest satisfaction and operational
excellence.
--- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures
pertaining to this position and its duties.
--- Ensures cross-selling of other Shamin Hotels by hotel
staff.
--- Teaching, mentoring, and directing hotel staff.
--- Being comfortable with the high level of visibility and the
leadership role within the hotel and community.

Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's Degree and/or extensive experience in a hotel or
related field required.
--- 1-2 years of hotel experience is preferred.
--- Strong financial knowledge required.
--- Must be able to work with and understand financial information
and data, and possess basic mathematical skills
--- Reading, Writing, Basic Math
--- Computer skills
--- Brand systems
