We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System (VCCS).PVCC is seeking an innovative and collaborative individual to serve as a full-time Administrative Assistant and Lab Coordinator at the Eugene Giuseppe Center in Greene County to support nursing and health sciences programs being offered there. This position may require working evening and weekend hours in addition to working days.The Administrative Assistant & Lab Coordinator will support the PVCC Nursing programs (RN, LPN, & CNA) as well as other credit and non-credit health sciences programs. This position is responsible for general administrative responsibilities, setting-up and taking down lab equipment for instruction, oversight of ordering supplies and equipment of health science programs, organizing and restocking simulation laboratory supplies, participating in faculty and departmental meetings, and other division administrative functions as directed. This position will assist the full-time clinical compliance coordinator with clinical compliance requirements. In addition, this position will assist with managing the operation of the Giuseppe Center including general office management and assisting faculty and staff with instructional needs.Special AssignmentsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned.
