We are looking for a Medical Office Manager to join our medical practice full time in Charlottesville, VA. Our ideal candidate is organized, pays attention to detail, can multitask and work well within a team environment. If you have great communication skills, have experience in short term and long-term project management, and experience as an office manager, then we want you to be an integral part of our executive team!
This position requires being a part of our executive team, helping to manage and run the business. Our practice is growing rapidly, and we need a dynamic, experienced manager to assist our team with the growth process. While some assistance with administrative and receptionist tasks may be occasionally necessary as a backup, this is more of a management position, focusing on strategic planning and long-term growth projects.

Office Management
Short term and long-term project management
Supply ordering, equipment, and office maintenance & repairs
Assess business efficiency and profitability
Schedule meetings, attend quarterly meetings with exec team, make travel arrangements, etc.
Track Strategic Planning through timelines, reminders, and team coordination
Payroll, employee reviews, requests, and any other employee issues, Staff recruitment, Employee benefits development
Assist with the writing of job duties for employee manuals and onboarding new hires
Manage budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting, bookkeeping with QuickBooks
Patient accounting-ledger reconciliation
Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences
Experience as an Office Administrator, Front office manager, Practice Administrator, etc.
Strong grasp of MS 365, Adobe, and Google Suite is required. Familiarity with Quickbooks is a BIG PLUS
Comfortable training with other team members (role-playing, holding team accountable)
Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g. scanners, fax machines, and printers)
Business degree preferred
Full time
Some remote hours are a possibility after 90 days onsite
$45k-$60k per year (DOE)
