Emergency Department RNs at Wilmington & Christiana HospitalsWe are hiring Registered Nurses for our Emergency Departments. Choose to work at either our Wilmington or Newark location.Christiana Hospital is designated by the state of Delaware and verified by the American College of Surgeons as the state's only Level I trauma center for adults in Delaware. This is the highest capability possible for a trauma center.Wilmington Hospital's Emergency Department is a 37 bed Emergency Department, housing a Level 3 Trauma Center and is equipped with a helipad. This ED is a winner of the ENA Lantern Award.As an integral part of Delaware's trauma system, ChristianaCare provides statewide leadership and assistance with trauma response, strategic planning and education. ChristianaCare's trauma program collaborates with state and private emergency-management personnel throughout Delaware to ensure that every injured person receives the same high-quality care and best possible chance for recovery.Our ED nurses care for patients experiencing medical, cardiac and trauma related emergencies. We seek experienced Registered Nurses to care for the patients in our Christiana Emergency Department and Wilmington Emergency Departments.. Are you ready to make this exciting move?Highlights:

  • BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
  • At least one year of experience in a med/surgical unit or ED required.
  • BLS required.Hours:This is a Full Time Flex (72 hours per pay) position and a Midnight schedule of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Commitment required for every third weekend and 2 holidays per year. (Part time and Per Diem opportunities may be available for qualified candidates with ED experience.)Location:We have Emergency Department openings at both Wilmington Hospital located in the City of Wilmington, Delaware and Christiana Hospital located in Newark, Delaware.Bonus Details: Sign-On Bonuses may be available.
