  • The Neuro ICU is a 12-bed critical care unit providing intensive management to patients with life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions
  • Cases typically seen in this practice area include central nervous system tumors, complex spine surgery, acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, endovascular interventions, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular diseases, status epilepticus, and central nervous system infections
  • Start can be either 10/14 or 10/28
  • Offers 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Night shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
  • Can approve 40 hours for time off
  • Must have Epic experience
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS, ACLS required
    • NIH stroke cert required but can submit with that pending
    • Must adhere to UVAs float policy
    • Can submit with VA license pending
      • Schedule Information
      • Nights
      • Every other weekend
      • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
