• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required.
• AHA, Apex, or AA CME for NIH Stroke Certification accepted.

  • Registered Nurse position at University of Virginia Health System.
  • Clinical review and auto offer.
  • The Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit.
  • A 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU) is also included.
  • The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4.
  • 04/29 or 05/13 Start date.
  • 13 weeks contract duration.
  • Nights shift.
  • Offers of 36 or 48 hours per week are available.
  • Every other weekend, every other holiday commitment.
  • Must adhere to UVAs float policy
  • Must have Epic experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • ONS required, please attach cert with submittal.
    • Can submit with second half of cert pending.
    • BLS, ACLS preferred not required.
    • Can submit with VA license pending.
      • Schedule Information
      • Nights shift schedule.
      • Offers of 36 or 48 hours per week.
      • Every other weekend, every other holiday requirements.
      • Can approve 40 hours max for time off.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The Inpatient Oncology unit is focused on adult acute care hematology/oncology.
        • Part of the unit is dedicated to intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant.
          • Additional Details
          • Proof of I9 or Attestation required.
          • Government issued photo ID required and must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
          • ARC and AHA for ACLS and BLS certifications accepted.
          • Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
