Please indicate your expected license date when applying. Typical work hours 8am-5pm.We arelooking for *Temporary Hygienists* to join various locations in the greater Richmond*, Virginia area! _* Please note we have locations available for Full-time, Part-time and Temporary positions. _*Compensation contingent on experience.**Clinical Requirements for Dental Hygienist (RDH):** CPR certified (American Heart Association, Basic Life Support for healthcare providers)* High degree of skill with hand instrumentation and ultrasonic inserts* Experience in digital radiographs and Dentrix Enterprise electronic patient records preferred* Scaling and Root planing* Certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. If needed, Virginia Family Dentistry will compensate for certification and continued learning*Role and Responsibilities for Dental Hygienist (RDH)** Cleaning teeth: Removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth* Examining oral health: Checking for signs of oral disease in the head, neck, and oral areas* Applying sealants and fluorides: Protecting teeth with these treatments* Taking and developing x-rays: Reviewing them for signs of disease* Educating patients: Teaching proper oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing and flossing* Documenting care: Recording patient care and treatment plans* Screening patients: Reviewing dental history and recommending care to improve oral healthAt Virginia Family Dentistry, our hygienists are held to a high-quality standard in all aspects of dental care.
