Information $1,942 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:30 -
07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years specialty experience
required; must have completed 1 prior travel assignment License:
Active RN license required; pending licenses accepted for later
start dates at a lower rate, but must have license in hand prior to
start date Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and BSN preferred
Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Starting IVs -
High flow nasal cannula (HFNC) experience Description: We have a
Medical-Surgical population with a variety of diagnoses. We take
all thoracic surgery patients, Le Fort patients, and AAA repair
patients. Our unit averages about 5-10 thoracic surgery cases each
week. Other common patient diagnoses include GI bleeds, pneumonia,
liver failure, and CHF exacerbations. The facility is a short-term
acute care teaching hospital. Total staffed beds are 402. The
nurse-patient ratio is 1:4. Scrubs are not provided; any color
without hospital logos is acceptable. Charting is done via Cerner.
All travelers must be able and willing to accept assignments that
may include COVID-19 patients. Weekly scheduling does include
weekends. Travelers may be required to float within units of
