Job Description Come grow at Carilion Clinic as BC/BE fellowship trained breast imaging Radiologist at our practice in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Roanoke, VA. - $150 million new cancer center – ground breaking occurred on 10/30/2024 with completion date in 2027 - $400 million expansion tower to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital - scheduled to open in 2025 - New 80,000 sq ft outpatient pediatric clinic opened in 2021 - New 37,000 sq ft mental health clinic opened in 2023 - Currently have state certificate of public need (COPN) approval to install 4 new CT scanners (2 in Roanoke and 2 at regional hospitals) and 1 new MRI scanner (Roanoke) - Year-over-year increases in imaging volume Compensation and Other Benefits: - Compensation: $500,000.00 per year base with potential to make $600,000.00 per year after bonuses - Professional development fund: $7200.00 per year - Retirement plans: 403(b), 457(b), and true defined-benefit pension plan - $10,000.00 moving allowance - Fringe benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Plan, Short Term Disability, Term Life Insurance, Healthcare and Childcare Flexible Spending Accounts - Carilion is a not-for-profit healthcare organization and therefore physicians are eligible to participate in the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) - Virginia is a tort reform state. An additional 1.5T Sola will be installed in January 2025. - Entire fleet of mammography systems (15 units) will be upgraded to Siemens B.Brilliant platform over next 4 years.
