Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Fishersville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,876 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Fishersville, Virginia, 22939! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience required. - Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:5. - Experience with cardiac telemetry and central line care. Description: This position involves caring for adult patients who are acutely ill with a variety of medical problems. The patient population includes those with cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary issues, and more. The registered nurse will be accountable for the coordination of direct patient care and education. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Self-scheduling is available. Nurses on this unit will manage diverse patient diagnoses. This includes working with patients experiencing hypo/hypertension, CHF, chest pain, stroke pre/post care, COPD, and more. The role requires proficiency in various nursing skills and interventions. Those include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, and tracheostomy care. Fit testing for masks will be required. There is a zero-tolerance policy for THC. Medical marijuana cards are not accepted.
