As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will employ the nursing
process to deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed
professionals authorized by state regulations to prescribe
treatments and medications, or under the supervision of a
Registered Nurse (RN). You will be accountable for the care
provided to your assigned patients, ensuring coordination with
various departments while upholding patient rights and maintaining
confidentiality. Position Overview: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Our Hospital in Lincoln Department: Emergency Services
Status: Full-Time (36 hours per week) Shift: Daytime

Qualifications: Education: Completion of an accredited practical
nursing program is required; equivalent educational experience and
successful licensure may also be considered. Licensure: It is your
responsibility to secure and maintain a valid LPN license in the
state where you will be practicing, adhering to all requirements
set by the State Board of Nursing. Certifications: Note: Depending
on the specific position or unit, certain certifications may be
necessary, or you may need to obtain them within a specified
timeframe: • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) • PALS (Pediatric
Advanced Life Support) • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition
and Stabilization) • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway,
Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment &
Care Modules • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the
American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30
days of hire • IV Certification within one year of hire •
Additional unit-specific certifications as required. Physical
Demands: • The role necessitates the ability to regularly push,
pull, or lift up to 50 lbs. • Prolonged standing and walking are
required throughout each shift. • The position involves gripping,
reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to fulfill job
