a qualified Rehab RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23229! Job Title:

Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift:
12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse
License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Step-Down experience
Cardiac Drips experience BIPAP/CPAP/High Flow experience Sepsis
management experience Description: The unit consists of 20 beds
with a patient ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes Unit Secretaries,
Nurse Externs, Patient Care Technicians, Registered Nurses,
Managers, and Directors. The type of equipment utilized includes
ZOLL, Baxter pumps, GE telemetry monitors, Hillrom beds, Centrella
Specialty beds, and Kangaroo pumps. Documentation is handled
through a specific system. Scheduling requires availability every
other weekend and on holidays. Floating to other step-down units
and med-surg areas is required. Patient experience practices
include maintaining ACLS certification and competencies in acute
care/step-down settings. Common interventions performed in the unit
include BIPAP/CPAP use and chest tube management. Advanced skills
include bedside cardioversion with appropriate support for patient
recovery. Dress code entails navy blue or white scrubs and
closed-toe shoes, with guidelines on acceptable attire. Time and
attendance policies are strictly enforced, with shift huddles and
bedside shift reporting mandatory. The unit has received several
