Must-Have: - Epic experience - Charge experience Description: The
position involves providing nursing care in a progressive care unit
setting. The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments,
medication administration, and coordinating care. Ratios are
currently 1:5, with a goal of 1:4. Floating to other units may be
required based on facility needs. ACLS and BLS certifications are
mandatory for this role. Candidates should be experienced in
telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and central line care.
Experience with various intravenous medications is necessary. The
unit accommodates adult and geriatric patients. Support services
include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The
unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities. Nurses may be asked to
float to another PCU or medical-surgical level of care as needed.
The nurse should be prepared to work some weekends as part of the
scheduling requirements. Compliance with hospital policies and
