Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,977 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active VA / Compact License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Teaching hospital experience, Charge experience preferred Description: Replacing a previous nurse. Surgical Medical-Surgical RN position with night shifts. Assignments are on a 12-hour shift basis. Must work weekends as needed (2 to 3 weekends per month). IVS offers limited requests for time off. Cancellations may occur up to 36 hours prior to an assignment based on census. Whenever possible, support a culture of mentorship with students and new hires. Float requirement is not applicable. Charge responsibility may be required, and training will be provided. Prior travel experience is required for all positions. All requests for time off must be included with the application.
