and from your assignment Key Responsibilities: Deliver
high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple ICUs, adjusting
to different unit protocols, patient conditions, and
interdisciplinary teams. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
nursing care for patients with acute and life-threatening
conditions. Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs, lab
results, and other diagnostic data to identify and respond to
changes in patient status. Administer medications, blood products,
and specialized treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety
standards and hospital protocols. Collaborate effectively with
physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other
healthcare professionals to develop and modify individualized care
plans. Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to handle rapidly
changing situations and implement appropriate interventions.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatments,
procedures, and post-discharge care instructions. Document all
aspects of patient care accurately and timely, ensuring compliance
with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Participate in
quality improvement initiatives, contribute to evidence-based
practices, and support the training and mentoring of new staff.
Requirements: • Active RN license in Virgina (or compact license) •
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience • BLS, ACLS certifications
required • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and
