Job Description:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an
exciting locum tenens opportunity near Haynesville, Virginia. If

Position Overview: Specialty: Gastroenterology (Board Certification
Required). Coverage: Weekend-only coverage (Friday 5:00 PM to
Monday 7:00 AM). Responsibilities: Manage gastrointestinal (GI)
emergencies. Perform Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio
Pancreatography (ERCP) procedures as needed. Ensure appropriate use
of resources by focusing on emergent and urgent cases only. Routine
scopes and colonoscopies are not performed during these shifts.
Daily Patient Volume: Anticipated at 1 patient per day, focused on
emergency cases. Schedule Details: Shift Type: 24-hour on-call
coverage during weekends. Duration: Ongoing weekend needs through
at least March 2025. Start Date: January 2025 (with opportunities
for earlier shifts upon approval). Qualifications: Must hold Board
Certification in Gastroenterology. Proficient in handling GI
emergencies and performing ERCP procedures independently. What You
