MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. As part of our Respiratory Therapy team, you will have the opportunity to directly impact patient outcomes by providing care, education, and support to individuals with respiratory illnesses. This role requires a compassionate professional ready to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Assess patient respiratory function and devise appropriate treatment plans. Administer and manage therapy including aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation. Monitor and record patient progress and response to treatments. Educate patients and families about respiratory health and ongoing care procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Proficient in operating respiratory equipment Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensure required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred
