Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n Registered Nurse - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day shifts with self-scheduling flexibility /n• Maintain 1:5 patient ratio /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• 24-hour orientation period with Day 1 at Employee Health and Day 2 floor orientation /n• 1 year of nursing experience required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS /n• Care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems /n• Patient population includes cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary conditions /n• Coordinate direct patient care and education /n• Work with 32-bed unit serving 29 daily census /n• Manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, stroke, COPD, MI, AFIB, GI bleed /n• Perform specialized procedures including insulin drips for DKAs, pre/post cardiac catheterizations /n• Experience required with telemetry monitoring, wound care, tracheostomy care, central line management /n• Must be comfortable with dysrhythmia interpretation and management /n• RTO policy applies for holiday coverage based on assignment length /n• Zero tolerance policy for THC - medical marijuana cards not accepted /n• Fit testing required with facial hair restrictions /n/n Facility: /n This independent community hospital is recognized as one of Healthgrades 50 Best Hospitals in America.
