As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for performing tasks to support the organization's daily operations. An operations associate must have excellent organizational skills to perform various duties for different business functions under the supervision of an operations manager. They are also responsible for processing merchandise arriving/departing the store and for the organization and placement of product.
Operations Associate Duties:

• Ensure that all merchandise and product received at the store is processed in accordance with established programs and procedures and that the department area is organized and maintained so that back stock merchandise is easily accessible in partnership with the FFL/Operations Lead.
• Assist with the unloading of trucks and processing of freight
• Execute transfers, RTVS, claims, freight processing, etc.
• Ensure that the receiving and back stock areas are organized and maintained so that merchandise is easily accessible; assist with general maintenance throughout the area.
• Create a world-class customer experience by providing passionate customer service and selling through customer engagement.
• Uphold DICK’S Sporting Goods’ standards for merchandise presentation of the best apparel and equipment brands in sporting goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the store including the office and restrooms
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons/bins weighing approximately 10-50 pounds each repetitively
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management All Guides, (our associates), are required to adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Additionally, as business needs arise, other tasks may become necessary. Qualifications
  Success Profile :
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays
  • 1-2 years of operations or maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to provide clear, constant and confident communication to explorers and guides
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to provide instruction to all employees and listen attentively to others
