Job Description:

Executive couple moving into a lovely home in Charlottesville, VA seeks to hire an experienced and versatile housekeeper with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a fine home.

Primary responsibilities will include the daily, deep and specialty cleaning for the home and laundry. --They will assist the principals in packing and unpacking for travel, as well as help with other organizational and household projects. The Housekeeper will also assist with light meal preparation, occasionally serve, run errands, and purchase household supplies. They will work alongside and report to a house manager.

The right candidate will have excellent cleaning, organizational, and laundry skills. Knowledge of the care of fine finishes and specialty fabrics. Experience setting a beautiful table and serving a plus. This person will be tech savvy and up to date on current cleaning techniques and --have prior experience working in a fine home with verifiable references.

This is generally, Monday through Friday schedule; 40 hours per week with some flexibility to work some weekend days on occasion when family is entertaining. --An excellent compensation package offered, depending on qualifications.
