Must-Have: ARRT (CT) preferred Description: POSITION: CT Tech Shift
hours: 4x10s on consecutive days. Start day is either Monday or
Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Siemens
experience is preferred. Epic experience is preferred. On-call
requirement is one call shift per week, not on the last day. Call
hours are from 5:00 PM to midnight. Requests for time off must be
included with submission. Facility is allowed to call off one shift
every two weeks. Must be available to work or take call one holiday
per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff. Accept first-time
travelers. Locals are not accepted. Pending licenses accepted:
Virginia state license is required. Any active state license in
hand is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to
travelers with a license while their permanent license is
processing. Required certifications include BLS and ARRT(R), with
ARRT (CT) preferred. Required clinical skills include chest scans
(with/without contrast), vascular chest scans, and head scans
(with/without contrast). Travelers may be required to float to a
different location if needed. Travelers are required to work at
least one holiday per 13-week assignment, with the exception of
winter holidays where they are required to work two holidays
(Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve/New Year's).
Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
