Northrop Grumman, Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Embedded
Software Engineer to develop software for navigation and machine
control systems for maritime platforms of US Navy and US Coast
Guard. The Charlottesville team s upports the Naval and Oceanic
Systems business within the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems
Sector. The candidate should have experience with structured
software development methodologies and modern software test tools
and techniques. The candidate will work within a cross-functional
team, and will be responsible for developing software,
participating in acceptance criteria development, creating scripts
and utilizing COTS tools to automate testing, documenting
instructions, and participating in integration activities. Day to
day activities may involve analysis, design, development,
integration, debugging, maintenance, and verification of navigation
and control software.
Basic Qualifications for Level 1 Associate Embedded Software
Engineer:
Salary Range 2: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,

and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
