About the Team Dedicated to fueling the entrepreneurial spirit of America’s business owners, the Business Cards & Payments (BC&P)team provides products and services designed to help business owners do more business. Our organization is focused on listening to and learning from the millions of business customers we serve every day to ensure our products, services, and experiences work as hard as they do. As the Small Business Experiences & Capabilities Lead, you will lead a team of ~15 associates and work closely with our Business, Tech, Design, and Marketing partners to drive the launch of market-leading products for our small business customers and reinvent our digital spend experiences, including multi-user functionality and virtual card capabilities. You will also play a key role in transforming the larger Product Management organization in BC&P. You’ll help shape our culture, grow our talent, and serve as an ambassador for Product Management across the company as we leverage AI to transform how we work and drive innovative, sustainable customer experiences. This role could be a great fit for you if: You can translate business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products You obsess over customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions You have experience leading cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment You’re comfortable facing white space problems and push through the uncertainty You have a demonstrated interest and aptitude for AI, and use it to learn, build, and solve problems beyond basic text generation Capital One Product Framework In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management: Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions Business Focused -Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence Technology Driven -Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks Transformational Leadership -Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment Basic Qualifications: At least 9 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Masters Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $269,600 - $307,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management New York, NY: $294,100 - $335,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management Richmond, VA: $245,100 - $279,800 for Sr. Dir, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
