Job Description:
Technical Writer (TS/SCI) Reston, VA, USA Full-time Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI Job Description Research, organize, write, edit, and
produce data for use in a wide variety of complex technical
publications requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding of the
subject matter and allied fields. Recommend overall organization
and layout, editorial standards, publication methods and the like.
Coordinate publication with outside sources and vendors as needed.
Develop department editing standards and styles. Provide work
leadership for lower level employees. Exclude those responsible
only for writing or editing and those with full supervisory
responsibilities. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Work without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team
members. Qualifications 3 years of experience working in a
client-facing role 3 years of experience developing technical
manuals, procedures, or user guides TS/SCI Clearance Bachelor’s
degree Desired Qualifications: Experience working as a technical
writer in a technology or IT field Experience developing marketing
communications or presentations Ability to pay strict attention to
detail
