Test Engineer (Automated Testing) LOCATION Chantilly, VA 20151 CLEARANCE TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) KEY SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute test plans and cases, identifying and reporting defects to ensure that the software meets both functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements, perform manual and automated testing, and help resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys solving complex problems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop automated test scripts Execute automated tests and analyze results Identify, document, and track defects in the system Work closely with developers to understand system functionality Develop and maintain test plans and cases Ensure test coverage and adherence to quality standards REQUIRED SKILLS Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) Understanding of software testing methodologies Ability to design and implement automated tests for various platforms DESIRED SKILLS Experience with performance testing tools Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman) Familiarity with cloud testing frameworks Expertise in test-driven development (TDD) Proficiency in database testing and validation Experience with mobile application testing automation PLUG IN to CYMERTEK - And design your future YOUR FOREVER CAREER STARTS HERE Are you looking for more than just a job?
