missions. Position Description Harmonia is seeking a Senior Account
Manager to support the growth of our Veterans Affairs (VA)
portfolio. This role focuses on building and strengthening
relationships with VA customers and industry partners, identifying
and shaping new opportunities, and helping position the company to
successfully pursue and win work aligned with our strategic
priorities. The Senior Account Manager will play a key role in
connecting customer needs, company capabilities, and market
opportunities. This individual will help refine growth strategies,
align initiatives to those strategies, and support the full
lifecycle of business development activities from early opportunity
identification through pursuit. This role requires strong
communication skills, a relationship-driven mindset, and an
understanding of how federal IT and cybersecurity services are
delivered to VA customers. Responsibilities: In this role, a
typical day will include: Building and maintaining strong
relationships with VA customers, partners, and industry
stakeholders to better understand mission priorities and upcoming
opportunities. Attending and participating in industry events,
customer meetings, and networking engagements to expand visibility
and strengthen the company’s presence in the VA ecosystem. Helping
identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities aligned with the
company’s strategic growth priorities and core capabilities.
Supporting the development and refinement of the VA growth
strategy, including aligning pursuits and initiatives with market
needs and company strengths. Collaborating with delivery leaders,
technical experts, and proposal teams to help develop compelling
solutions and positioning strategies. Supporting capture and
proposal activities by contributing customer insight, partner
coordination, and strategic messaging. Working with leadership to
track pipeline development, monitor opportunity progress, and
ensure pursuits are aligned with strategic goals. Strengthening
teaming and partner relationships to support joint pursuits and
expand the company’s ability to deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements 7 years of experience in federal government business
development, account management, capture support, program
leadership, or a related growth role. 2 years of experience
supporting or working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Strong relationship management and networking skills with the
ability to engage customers and industry partners effectively.
Experience helping identify, qualify, and shape federal
opportunities aligned with organizational capabilities. Strong
communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate
mission needs, solutions, and growth strategies. Ability to
collaborate across technical, delivery, and growth teams to support
successful pursuits. Desired Existing relationships within VA
organizations, particularly within OIT or mission support offices.
Experience supporting growth efforts related to IT services,
cybersecurity, cloud, data, or health IT solutions. Familiarity
with federal acquisition processes, IDIQ vehicles, and task order
competitions. Experience working with small businesses, primes, and
teaming partners in the federal marketplace. Understanding of
federal market intelligence and pipeline development practices.
Certifications such as Shipley Capture or Proposal certifications,
Certified Capture Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional
(PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or other
related certifications. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams,
SharePoint, and Salesforce for collaboration, reporting, and
opportunity tracking.
