Mission Essential is currently seeking Technical Editorsto
review intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and
syntax, aswell as for logic, clarity, and consistency. Ensures that
style and formatconform to agency publication standards and that
language presentation isconsistent with prescribed style guides and
specialized vocabulary of subjectmatter fields. Amends draft
tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure thecontent supports and
is consistent with the accompanying text. Ensures
properclassification markings in accordance with IC guidance. Works
with authors torevise products for narrative organization, and
negotiates further revisions asneeded.
Meets all the qualifications of a mid-level, plus:
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor
categoryactivities required to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative
analyticmethodologies and pursue developments in academia or other
fields that affecttradecraft methodology. Demonstrates ability to
define comprehensive, new, orunique research approaches that enable
rigorous assessments to address andcontribute to high-level
• Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and
knowledgemanagement issues across organizational and intra-IC

Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to
thespecific labor category with at least a portion of the
experience within thelast 2 years.
Desired Education: Master’s Degree in an area related to the
laborcategory from a college or university accredited by an agency
recognized by theU.S. Department of Education: or have a Bachelor’s
degree related to the laborcategory from a college or university
accredited by an agency recognized by theU.S. Department of
Education and an additional 5 years of related Seniorexperience for
a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s Degree.
