Job Description:

SOSi is seeking a Site Lead / Operations Analystin Charlottesville, VA who will provide administrative, security, operational, and logistics staff support. Significant additional duties include deployment coordination and project management. The ideal candidate will be trained and experienced in military staff coordination, possess a TS/SCI security clearance, and possess or be willing to obtain certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

  • Administrative Support: Serves as action officer for administrative actions as assigned by the COR. Employs strong written communication skills in preparing correspondence IAW Army and NGIC regulations and SOPs
  • Security: Performs staff coordination with the NGIC Security Office, SOSi Security, and Contractor security officer as required to facilitate clearance passing, visitor authorizations, and clearances. Coordinate with Contractor teammates and IT account administrators of several networks both classified and unclassified, in CONUS and OCONUS, to ensure accounts remain current at all times
  • Logistics: Maintains the government clients property hand receipt and the Program Managers Government Furnished Equipment hand receipt, valued at well over $11M. Coordinates with the NGIC Logistics Branch to ensure property accountability is maintained. Conducts annual and periodic inventories of equipment. Coordinates sub-hand receipting of property to mission partners. Coordinates the purchasing, receiving, and documenting of all purchases made through the contract (Other Direct Costs) to ensure a paper trail documenting that each purchase was requested, approved, and accepted by the client. Coordinates the movement of purchases through the NGIC warehouse, into the SCIF, and into the proper workstation.
  • Operations: Obtains and records metrics of performance in support of warfighters around the world. Prepares concise summaries of all significant activities performed and forwards them to a distribution list of senior Army and Intelligence Community leaders. Assembles and prepares the Annual Report, which is distributed throughout the Intelligence Community.
  • Deployment Coordination: Performs all tasks required to deploy (government and contractor) imagery scientists to locations around the world. Serves as point of contact for all actions pertaining to any particular deployment. Coordinates with counterparts at mission partner firms to support their lead, or to provide the lead for specific deployments. Tasks include but certainly are not limited to:
    • Obtain deployment certification seats at CRC for each deployer.
    • Coordinate with host nations for entry requirements.
    • Obtain Country/Theater clearance for each deployment (APACS and Foreign Clearance Guide).
    • Obtain Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for all contractor movements.
    • Maintain accurate accountability of deployed personnel on DoDs Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT).
    • Program and ensure completion of deployers pre-deployment tasks.
  • Project Management: Manages projects from initiation to completion, as assigned by the USG Customer

  • Current (in scope) Top Secret clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligible/ (TS/SCI)
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited school
  • In special cases, with the discretion of the appropriate Government representative,commensurateexperience will be accepted in lieu of educational requirement
  • Eight years' total experience, with four years experience in an operational intelligence production environment
  • Four years desired experience in project management and deployment coordination
  • Four years demonstrated experience briefing senior USG and US Army Personnel is desired
  • Expert level skills in basic Microsoft office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel)

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
  • Bachelor of Science degree is desired, but not required

  • Relatively fast paced, time critical environment
