Title: Talent Selection Manager
Reports to: Director of Talent Selection
Status: Full Time / Exempt - Temp to hire
Location:  Remote in market with travel


The Talent Selection Manager will develop strategies for sourcing and recruiting top talent for BJ's Restaurants. This role will work in close partnership with the Operations Team sourcing, screening, and managing the full cycle recruiting process. Qualified candidates will have a passion for recruiting top talent in a high volume, fast paced environment. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works in partnership with Operations in the selection of top talent for our Restaurants.
  • Supports Directors of Operations / Area Vice Presidents, Directors of Kitchen Operations, and restaurant management teams throughout the interview process.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to include candidate sourcing, phone interviews, pre-employment assessments, scheduling of Operations interviews, negotiating & extending employment offers and processing background investigations.
  • Develop large, high quality candidate pool via internal candidate sourcing, use of internet and job board resources, networking, and referral program maximization.
  • Work with Directors of Operations / Area Vice Presidents and Regional Vice Presidents to understand & appropriately address their hiring needs.
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent while maintaining and building our bench strength.
  • Manage ATS applicant flow and screen potential candidates in a timely manner.
  • Navigate candidate through the selection process while positively representing the organization

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in all MS Office programs.
  • Expert knowledge in using Internet-based recruiting techniques including social networking sites and internet job boards is required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 25% travel may be required.
  • 3+ years recruiting or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and ability working in a remote environment.
  • Hospitality industry experience preferred
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
