UVA Imaging is searching for a professional with Limited Licensure with scope of practice in Radiography for extremity and spine for a new Outpatient Orthopedic Imaging facility in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia. This Orthopedic Center is near the University of Virginia with access to the mountains and the Beach is only two hours away. This candidate must be licensed by the state of Virginia to perform exams as designated under the state of Virginia license, have excellent interpersonal skills and work well within a team. We are willing to train and assist with expenses to obtain a limited licensure in Radiography. Requirements:
NOTE: COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, or approved exemptions are required for employment at UVA Imaging.EXPERIENCE:Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiography TechnologistEDUCATION:Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.SKILLS/ABILITIES:Skill in operation of radiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.Ability to work independently and multitask.Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.Our mission is to provide each patient with quality, personalized care in a comfortable setting while offering referring physicians imaging services that accommodate their most specific needs.
