What You'll Do
As a Mid-Level Hydrogeologist, you understand the true meaning of

supporting a broad spectrum of groundwater resource projects and
collaborating with scientists and engineers.You also have a "can

growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success
of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are
some areas we expect to see you proficient in: Supporting and
managing a broad spectrum of groundwater resource projects related
to high-yield supply well installation and testing, mining
dewatering evaluations, groundwater resource assessments, well
rehabilitation, stormwater basin mounding analysis, construction
dewatering evaluations, and much more. Work will be performed under
the supervision of senior hydrogeologists, resulting in unique
mentoring opportunities for a variety of hydrogeological tasks and
applications. Strong technical reporting and hydrogeologic data
analysis skills. Assisting with all aspects of a project, including
marketing, proposal preparation, project management, field work,
data analysis, numerical modeling, map preparation, and technical
reporting. Working with governmental, municipal, industrial, and
commercial clients Completing field evaluation work to include
groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, well logging, subcontractor
oversight, surface water monitoring, etc. Conducting office work to
include data analysis, client and subcontractor coordination,
proposal preparation, assistance with or creation of numerical
groundwater models, map preparation, technical reporting, etc.
Working in a variety of hydrogeologic environments, including
coastal plain, crystalline bedrock, and karst aquifer systems.
Travelling overnight is infrequent but will be required at
times.
What We're Looking For
3 - 7 years of related experience. MS in Hydrogeology or related
fields such as Geology or Environmental Engineering with a focus in
Hydrogeology. Licensed Professional Geologist or ongoing track for
certification a plus. Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, GIS,
AQTESOLV, and Visual MODFLOW Flex. Excellent writing and
communication skills and a commitment to continued learning.
