We are seeking a friendly, talented, and motivated sales and service oriented individual to join the Member Service Center team. Working within a high-volume schedule driven call center environment, a Member Service Center Representative will respond to inquiries and requests from members and other departments over the phone or in writing. The incumbent will provide information on products and services demonstrating, knowledge, active listening, multiple system adaptability and engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service. Additionally, the candidate of choice will perform transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and advise members of other products and services that may fit their needs all while providing positive member interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

--- Provide member support via telephone and/or electronic methods promptly and in a friendly and pleasant manner

--- Protect and verify identity of caller; review account information for alerts and account irregularities

--- Maintain extensive knowledge of all credit union products and services in order to assist members quickly and efficiently

--- Actively resolve member concerns regarding all credit union products and services including but not limited to accounts, debit cards, credit cards, loans, home banking, mobile banking and bill payments

--- Conduct initial phone interview with member for referrals to credit union mortgage, commercial lending and/or investment specialists

--- Execute first call resolution which may require research, follow-up, and return calls

--- Ability to advise members on appropriate products and services to enhance member experience

--- Advocate and demonstrate credit union brand


--- 1 to 2 years' experience in a high volume phone environment, preferably within a financial institution

--- Excellent oral and written communication skills

--- Able to handle multiple tasks

--- Detail oriented, organized, works efficiently and accurately

--- Thrives and maintains composure in a fast-paced environment

--- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
