Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Providing behavioral support
in elementary schools requires specialized skills and dedication.
This position seeks experienced Registered Behavior Technicians
(RBTs) to support students with severe behaviors across K-8th grade
levels in a school district setting. The role is grant funded and
designed for professionals comfortable floating between schools to
meet student needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct behavioral
interventions to students exhibiting severe behaviors in elementary
and middle school settings. Collaborate with supervisors, including
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), through regular
consultation to ensure treatment integrity. Document and track
student progress, adhering to established behavior plans. Support
school staff by providing behavioral strategies and modeling
techniques. Manage up to 37.5 hours weekly with a schedule from
8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Maintain a flexible approach by working
across multiple school sites within the district. Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Prior
experience working as an RBT in school environments is required;
candidates without school experience will not be considered.
Ability to work with students displaying severe behavioral
challenges. Comfortable receiving supervision from outside BCBA
professionals. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Hanover, Pennsylvania, within a school district serving
K-8th grade students. Contract Details: Contract duration from ASAP
through June 4, 2026. Grant-funded position focusing on behavioral
intervention services. Please note this role is specifically for
RBTs; paraeducators or behavior technicians without RBT
