MedStar Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region, is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Pharmacy Tech at MedStar Health, you will support our mission of delivering patient-first health services by managing medication distribution and ensuring accurate medication dispensing. This position requires an individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment, upholding our commitment to care excellence and teamwork. Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist Manage inventory and restock medications Process insurance claims and patient payments Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing Provide friendly and efficient service to all patients Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency with computer and database systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred Registered with the appropriate state board of pharmacy
