Job Description Job Description To Apply for this Job Click Here Permanent or Travel Float Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) – Regional Opportunities for Virginia OR North Carolina Locations Location: Multiple Locations (Regional) – Flexible Travel Assignments Locations to Cover would be Regional within Virginia OR North Carolina OR Coastal NC/VA Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent or Trave l Regional Units Provider positions to cover medical leave, vacations, notice periods, increase in census numbers Monday - Friday DAYS, 9am-5pm Base Rate $140,000 Mileage paid at the current federal rate ( $.70 per mile) Per Diem $70.00 per day for meals Lodging- Covered and arranged by Employer Full Benefits Pkg 3 Weeks PTO Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols. Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications. Float regionally to multiple facilities as assigned, adapting to diverse patient populations and unit workflows. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless continuity of care. Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient safety programs. Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements. Qualifications Current NP or PAC license in the state(s) of practice; compact or multi-state licenses preferred. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills. Ability and willingness to travel regionally on a flexible schedule.
